Product Update - We’ve addressed an issue where the tip of the blade could sit slightly high when closed. Our updated profile corrects this and has been fully implemented. All Manix LW Cerakote scales now feature this improved fit. Also, we’ve upgraded this model's Agent Milling to provide a more aggressive texture for improved grip and control. All new production now features this updated design, replacing the original smoother milling.Thank you for your feedback and continued support.

Introducing the highly anticipated Spyderco Manix Lightweight (LW) scales. Crafted with meticulous precision, these scales are milled from 6061 aluminum, renowned for its lightweight yet durable properties.

Drawing inspiration from our Agent series, these scales feature a popular profile and linerless construction, ensuring a sleek and minimalist aesthetic. Despite their robust construction, we've prioritized maintaining a lightweight design, with the scales adding a mere 0.4 ounces to the stock LW model.

Compatible only with the screw-together versions of the Manix LW, these aluminum scales promise a seamless fit and enhanced functionality. Elevate your Manix LW with these precision-engineered aluminum scales, offering unparalleled performance and style.

***YOU CANNOT CONVERT A PINNED VERSION TO A SCREW TOGETHER MANIX WITH THE HARDWARE KITS.***

The pivot screw on the pinned model is 4-40 rather than 6-32, which results in different cutout sizes. While this alone is not necessarily the make-or-break factor, it does contribute to the overall incompatibility. More importantly, the lock bar/backspacer does not have the 4-40 screw near the pivot and is not threaded to accept one. Additionally, it cannot be tapped to 4-40 due to its size, as the through-hole diameter is larger than what a 4-40 screw would require.
