The illustrated Old Hickory product is the Old Hickory Ice Pick that features a 5" pick made of high carbon steel and a hardwood handle. The Old Hickory Ice Pick has an overall length of 8". Made in the USA.
Caution, high carbon steel will rust if not properly cared for. Clean and oil after use, and keep out of the dishwasher.
Editor's note: When I was a little bitty boy, milk was delivered to the house from a Borden's milk truck. The milk came in gallon glass jars with paper seals. The delivery man's name was Cecil. He kept the milk cold in the truck with great big chunks of ice. Me and the other neighborhood kids would run out to his truck with cup towels, and he would chip us off some of the ice and wrap it in our cup towels as a treat. To some of my young customers this may seem pretty bland, but to a four year old in the 50's it was great. He used an ice pick just like this one to chip the ice.
