Love it!
By
I really like this little knife! I like that it's fairly thin, light and small because I don't like a knife in my pocket that is in the way or comes out when I pull my hand out. This Buck 112 Slim series are also awesome edc imo. This one is neat because it's rather small, which my friends who carry give me crap about but why drag a bigger/heavier knife around if you don't need it? So this is great imo, especially for work. Even out in the field it's always nice to have an extra small knife for little tasks.
Richard: Yes, all these Vantage knives are hard to open via a flick of the wrist. It's both the detent and the heavy spring tension. So I take it apart, bend the spring so it just enough to lock the blade, then I sand the detent tit down about half way. You can also use a Dremel to radius the detent hole in the blade so the tit comes out easier. Be sure the tit, or what's left of it, has a little grease on it, the washers have oil, screw tension is just right and you're good!

The Good, The Bad and The ugly
By
THE GOOD- great blade: holds an edge well, sharper than the devil in a tuxedo out of the box! the deep carry pocket clip is perfection!! excellent price for what you get! i love the size and it looks great! no centering problems on this one, perfectly centered!

THE BAD- the liner is a little sharp around the edges, it'll beat your fingers up if you flip it a lot. it can be fixed with a file or some sand paper.

THE UGLY- it's hard to flip, you need a LOT of wrist action to get it to snap open. i cleaned and lubed and loosened it up, but it didn't help much. i use the thumb hole more than the flipper but the thumb hole is a little inadequate, so i added a zip-tie to gain some traction.
