The illustrated Buck Knife is the Buck MiniBuck Knife that features a 1 7/8" drop point blade made of 420HC stainless steel, .082" thick, with a nail nick for opening. The black Valox handle of this Buck Knife, 2 7/8" closed, is slotted to reduce weight, textured for secure grip, and it comes with a lockback. A lanyard / keyring hole is included with this Buck knife (no pocket clip). The Buck MiniBuck Knife with black handle has an overall open length of 4 3/4", and it weighs only 1.0 ounce. Made in the USA.

Best pocket knife. Period. 03/22/2016

Found one years back (w/ smooth sides) and been carrying it daily since. Just got a new one - handle offers a better grip, and a very sharp edge.
Does everything a larger knife will do on a daily basis; from digging out a thorn to bypassing the BBQ plastic knives.
About the size of two quarters, you may be surprised how often you reach for this nifty tool.
Worth every cent (& speedy USPS mailing too boot).
