For the price, you can't beat the Forschner/Victorinox blades. This knife comes pretty sharp already, and can easily be sharpened a bit more. I throw mine into the dishwasher all the time, and it tolerates that abuse.

Great little knife for the kitchen (or anywhere else I suppose) very sharp out of the box. Quality is great only time will tell if it will hold up (it seems like it will)
