Forschner kitchen knives feature high-carbon stainless steel blades which are hand finished by Victorinox in Switzerland. A special tempering process produces an edge that can be resharpened again and again. All Victorinox handles are ergonomically designed to minimize wrist tension.
The illustrated Forschner Knife Set is the Forschner Steak Knife Set that features six (40003) steak knives that measure 9 1/8" overall. Each knife in this Forschner Knife Set has a 4 3/4" wavy blade made of high carbon stainless steel, with a sharp tip and the Victorinox logo embellishment, and a riveted Rosewood handle. The Forschner Steak Knife Set with wavy blades and Rosewood handles is made in Switzerland.
All Rosewood handles will vary in color and striation, which is part of the uniqueness of natural handle materials.
