The illustrated Spyderco Knife is the Spyderco Pacific Salt Knife that features a 3.8" modified sheepfoot blade made of H1 steel. The blade of this Spyderco Knife has a non reflective black finish, a notched thumb rest for secure grip, and the Spyderco hole for ambidextrous one hand opening. The Black fiberglass reinforced nylon handle, 4.89" closed, has a Volcano Grip texture, Boye dent lockback, and a lanyard hole. The Spyderco Pacific Salt Knife has a blade made out of a PH (precipitation hardened) steel that doesn't rust. H1 steel is naturally hard, and it will hold a sharpened cutting edge equivalent to many carbon steels. H1 has 1 percent nitrogen instead of carbon, so it cannot rust.
