The Kershaw Dividend Knife is a smaller scale, slim version of the popular Kersaw Link. The 3" drop point blade is made of 420HC stainless steel with a stonewash finish, a flipper and SpeedSafe Assist for fast ambidextrous one hand opening. The slim gray anodized aluminum handle, 4.25" closed, has steel liners and a decorative molded backspacer for strength, a liner lock, lanyard hole, and a four position pocket clip. The Kershaw Dividend with aluminum handle has an overall open length of 7.25", and it weighs 2.8 ounces. Made in the USA.

Too big for me

Seems to be a recent trend with Kershaw folders; most of them exceed 4" closed. Many may like this, but I prefer around 3 3/4" - 4". Based on this, I have probably a half-dozen Kershaws that I've either put away or stuck in my truck or car's glove box. Other than that, it's a great-handling and -looking knife.

One other thing the guy in the video says that bugs me: this is NOT a Wharncliffe blade! I see so many weird blades out today described as Wharncliffes - I think a lot of people don't really understand what a Wharncliffe is.

Even better than the Leek

Although it's slightly larger and thicker than the standard Leek, the blade seems to hold an edge longer. Like the Leek, it's extremely reliable and quick.

Workhorse

the Dividend is my workhorse. Still love my Leek but this one is beefier. To bad they discontinued the 420HC less expensive model.
