Knife is sharpened to a razor edge. This service is done on a 2" x 72" Burr King and finished on a Baldor buffer using a leather wheel. Blades are kept cool so overheating is not an issue. The Fox Blackfox BF-704 Knife, designed by Antonio Di Gennarolama, features a beefy 3.1" drop point blade made of 440C stainless steel, .15" thick, with a non reflective black finish, a top swedge, a notched thumb rest for secure purchase, and dual thumb studs for ambidextrous one hand opening. The black G10 handle, 4.6" closed, has milled grooves and notches for secure grip, steel liners for strength, a sturdy lockback, an extended pommel with lanyard hole, and a removable deep carry pocket clip mounted at the pivot end. The Blackfox BF-704 Knife has an overall open length of 7.7", and it weighs 7.8 ounces. Made in China.
