Forschner Knives: Forschner Three Piece Paring Knife Set, FO-48042
The illustrated Forschner Knife Set is the Forschner Three Piece Paring Knife Set that includes three paring knives with blades made of high carbon stainless steel. This knife set features a (40600) Parer with a 3 1/4" blade, a (40602) Parer with a 3 1/4" wavy blade, and a (40606) Bird's Beak Parer with a 2 1/4" curved blade. Each knife in this Forschner knife set has ergonomic black polypropylene handles that have been approved by the National Sanitation Foundation.
Forschner kitchen knives feature high-carbon stainless steel blades which are hand finished by Victorinox in Switzerland. A special tempering process produces an edge that can be resharpened again and again. All Victorinox handles are ergonomically designed to minimize wrist tension.
Editor's Note: Forschner Knives have been and continue to be manufactured by Victorinox in Switzerland. Recently, it has come to our attention that Victorinox no longer wishes to promote the name of Forschner. Neither the quality nor the value of the knives have changed. The only thing that has changed is the omitance of the name Forschner on the blade.
