Columbia River Knife and Tool: CRKT RASP Knife, CR-2081
The CRKT RASP (Rescue and Special Purpose) Knife, designed by retired Sergeant Major and knife designer Darrin William Sirois as part of the Forged by War program, is a stout tactical EDC that features a 3.671" modified Wharncliffe blade made of AUS8 stainless steel, .126" thick, with a slight recurve that elongates the cutting edge, a stonewash finish, a notched thumb ramp for secure grip, a single thumb stud and a flipper for ambidextrous one hand opening. The stonewash stainless steel handle, 5.050" closed, has finger grooves for secure purchase, a sturdy frame lock, large lanyard hole and a removable low carry steel pocket clip mounted at the pivot end. The RASP Knife has an overall open length of 8.750", and it weighs 5.6 ounces.
As part of the Forged By War program, 10 percent of the CRKT net profits from the RASP will be donated to Darrin Sirois' charity of choice.
