This knife is a winner
By
I have dozens of knives but seem to gravitate to the CRKT line of knives as my favorites. My recent purchase of the CRKT Radic has tweaked my enjoyment for an EDC knife. I have found the knife to hold an edged extremely well, and snap open, and lock into battery with a flick of the thumb. I am impressed in the rigidity of the handle to blade when in full battery and the ease with which the blade is safely returned to it’s out of battery state. The beefiness of the knife blade in the Radic says is not overly limited in what it can accomplish (within reason). With proper care this knife will function flawlessly while lasting for years.

CRKT Radic- great buy!

I got this to replace a Kershaw that I had- loved the Kershaw, but it had a little bit too much play for my taste- this knife has no wiggle, opens great, and has so far (2 weeks in) has held its edge very well! The design is great, fits my hand really well and has become my EDC knife. I love the design, I had a tanto and this is easier to sharpen, and seems to be a better design for just everyday utility tasks. Lightweight, sturdy (most robust liner lock for the price!), and easy to use. - Just an FYI- if you've never used assisted opens like this, it takes a little getting used to, but after a day or so it becomes second nature.

This is a great knife by means of handle shape blade shape and style. It's very comfortable in the hand and I'm sure it would make a great carry knife. My only problem with the design is that the thumbstud is sharp, too close to the handle scale and I believe too close to the pivot so it's hard and painful to open. Once your thumb finally gets it open enough the assist takes over and throws the blade out. If not for this reason the knife would be perfect. I'm probably returning her but if not I will modify the scales with a Dremel so that my thumb gets better purchase and or move the thumbstud back a bit.
