The CRKT 2842 Monashee Knife is a great folding hunter for the outdoorsman, designed by North Dakota knifemaker / pro hunting guide Russ Kommer, that features a 3.631 inch big belly drop point blade made of 8Cr13MoV stainless steel, .126 inches thick, with a satin finish, a notched thumb ramp for secure purchase, and dual thumb studs for ambidextrous one hand opening. The double injection molded gray and black TPR (thermoplastic rubber) handle, 5.174 inches closed, has full finger grooves for secure grip, sturdy liner lock, tool free Field Strip Technology, and a metal pocket clip. The Monashee Knife has an overall open length of 8.875 inches, and it weighs 4.8 ounces.

Field Strip Technology: slide front release lever up, rotate release wheel clockwise to loosen, pull apart to clean - no tools required.

Yes, it is a big knife, as such, but fits the pocket well and thumb stud works as desired to open knife easily. Good edge on blade and is a chunk of steel. Knives Plus has the best price on this knife I found anywhere.
