Columbia River Knife and Tool: CRKT HVAS Knife, CR-2817
The CRKT HVAS Knife, designed by Danish knifemaker Jesper Voxnaes, is a simple EDC that is suitable for use in the boardroom, the great outdoors and all points in between. The HVAS (old Norse for sharp) features a 3.339" classic drop point blade made of 1.4116 stainless steel, .126" thick, with a satin finish, a top swedge and a thumb hole for ambidextrous one hand opening. The black GRN (glass reinforced nylon) handle, 4.525" closed, has ergonomic contours for secure grip, a backspacer for strength, a liner lock, Ken Onion designed tool free Field Strip Technology, and a side to side reversible deep carry metal pocket clip mounted at the butt end. The HVAS Knife has an overall open length of 7.875", and it weighs 3.7 ounces.
Field Strip Technology: slide front release lever up, rotate release wheel clockwise to loosen, pull apart to clean - no tools required.
