The illustrated Case Knife is the Chestnut Bone CV (6154LCV) Case TrapperLock Knife that features a locking clip blade made of chrome vanadium carbon steel, with a thumb stud for one hand opening. The jigged Chestnut Bone handle of this Case knife, 4 1/8" closed, has a nickel silver Case shield, nickel silver bolsters and a liner lock. The Case TrapperLock Knife with Chestnut Bone handle weighs 3.4 ounces.

So this review is more about service from Danner @ KnivesPlus. The trapperLock by case has tolerances that will vary. This was confirmed by me speaking with Case directly. Mine was not great but I kept it. So the point of my review is Customer Service! Danner noticed my pending review and realized something was missed. Without getting too long here, he called me to hear my issue. We had a nice conversation about tolerances, case and overall customer satisfaction. I shared that I was just going to keep the knife and Danner offered to send me his Strop Block to compensate for a less then perfect experience. I am probably not expressing my appreciation well enough of the customer service aspect of this simple follow up phone call. I very much appreciate what I experienced from KnivesPlus today and will be a returning customer. Thanks Danner!

Exceptional Service from KP and Danner! 03/31/2017

I recently purchased A Case Trapperlock in CV steel from KP. Upon receiving it I felt it had to much side to side play. I called KP and spoke with Danner and explained the issue. He took the time to get another one off the shelf and compare his product and the one I received. He really cared about my purchase and wanted to find a solution that would keep me as a customer. He sent me a replacement which arrived just days later and it was perfect. The return was hassle free and very professional. Danner is what American companies should strive to be like and his kindness and caring really impressed me. I have made more purchases since this purchase and will continue to support KP!
