The illustrated DMT Knife Sharpener is the Extra Fine DMT D2 Dia-Sharp Mini Hone Knife Sharpener that features a 2 1/2" by 3/4" 1200 mesh extra fine grit Monocrystalline diamond sharpening surface, and a 4 1/2" hourglass shaped handle. This DMT Knife Sharpener has a tempered spring steel / tapered front end that forms an extended Easy Access Tip; ideal for honing in tight places and tough access edges. The DMT DiaSharp Mini Hone has an overall length of 7".
DMT Dia-Sharp Knife Sharpeners are continuous diamond surface sharpening stones. DMT uses Monocrystalline diamonds that are securely bonded in nickel, and then electroplated onto a solid stainless steel plate.
