I bought this Barlow because it is the current version of the knife I carried growing up. Overall good quality. Main blade is hollow ground. As received quite sharp, a couple minutes with my Strop Block make it very sharp. One problem though. After doing some cutting a small section of the main blade had folded over, and there were some chips near the folded area. Sharpening/stropping quickly restored the edge. I hope the weak edge was only due to the factory sharpening method.
