The illustrated CRKT knife is the CRKT Ripple Aluminum Knife, designed by custom knifemaker and inventor Ken Onion, that features a 3.125" drop point blade made of 8Cr14MoV stainless steel, .10" thick, with a Rockwell hardness of 58-59. The blade of this CRKT knife has a notched thumb ramp for secure grip, a Flipper and the IKBS pivot system for smooth ambidextrous one hand opening. The black aluminum handle, 4.375" closed, has a buffed pocket worn finish, machined texturing for secure grip, a liner lock and a lanyard hole. A removable stainless steel pocket clip is mounted at the pivot end of this CRKT knife. The CRKT Ripple Aluminum Knife with plain edge blade and black handle has an overall length of 7.50" when open, and it weighs 2.5 ounces.
