Columbia River Knife and Tool: CRKT Homefront Tactical Knife, CR-K260KKS

The CRKT Homefront Tactical Knife, designed by Hawaiian knifemaker Ken Onion, features a 3.427" part serrated tanto blade made of 1.4116 stainless steel, .138" thick, with a Rockwell hardness of 55-57, a non reflective black EDP finish, and a flipper for ambidextrous one hand opening. The black GRN (glass reinforced nylon) handle, 4.684" closed, has texturing and notches for secure grip, a liner lock, tool free Field Strip Technology, and a deep carry metal pocket clip mounted at the butt end. The Homefront Tactical Knife has an overall open length of 8.125", and it weighs 4.3 ounces. Made in Taiwan.

Field Strip Technology: slide front release lever up, rotate release wheel clockwise to loosen, pull apart to clean - no tools required.

Recently lost my 7 year old edc CRKTM16-13sf, this was my favorite pocket knife. They are no longer available, so after 2 weeks looking for a replacement i settled on the crkt K260KKS Homefront model. The size is close. Good feel. Grips well. Blade is beefy, nice and solid when opened. Flipper allows for quick smooth opening and lock up. Very sharp! Dismantling simple even without reading directions. The only minus is that the pocket clip is not movable, which i knew before purchasing. I will get used to it... i think i may have a new favorite now. The price was very good! Received my order much sooner then expected. No issues.. will be ordering here in the future. Thanks knivesplus for a hassle free experience.
