Columbia River Knife and Tool: CRKT Freyr, CR-2746
The CRKT Freyr - a tactical axe designed by North Carolina blacksmith and Vietnam war veteran Elmer Roush as part of the Forged by War program, has a deeply bearded head that harkens back to the days of the Vikings. The Freyr features a hot forged 1055 carbon steel head with a 4.52" cutting edge and a magnesium phosphate coat for corrosion resistance. The handle has been carved out of Tennessee Hickory for durability, and crafted for ease of use. The CRKT Freyr has an overall length of 16", and it weighs 1 pound 12.7 ounces.
As part of the Forged By War program, 10 percent of the CRKT net profits from the Freyr will be donated to Elmer Roush's charity of choice.
