Cold Steel Knives: Cold Steel Khan Knife, CS-54T

The Cold Steel Khan Knife, designed by custom knifemaker Mike Wallace, is a slim profile everyday carry that features a 3" tanto blade made of Japanese AUS8A stainless steel, 3mm thick, with an attractive line grain two tone satin finish and a HTR™ thumb ramp (designed by Andrew Demko) for ambidextrous one hand opening. The blue G10 handle, 4" closed, has a finger groove for secure grip, sturdy Tri-Ad Lock and a side to side reversible pocket clip mounted at the butt end. The Khan Knife has an overall open length of 7", and it weighs 2.4 ounces. Made in Taiwan.

I like every aspect of this knife. I own about every type of blade under the sun from micro to xl, fixed or folder and this one is "just right". Not to big..not to small. Fit and finish is good, it's easy to open / close and it feels good in hand. Perfect for daily tasks. Typically I prefer clip point / spear point blades, but this one is an exception as I absolutely love this tanto blade. Purchased for my collection (not enough in blue), but immediately this found its way in my pocket. I give the Kahn two thumbs way up. If you want a great knife for "daily tasks" look no further. Once in hand you'll feel it's smooth operation, and how nice it looks (blue g10 / satin blade finish). Usually I don't give reviews, but this one is so nice I had to try to express how good this one is. Purchase and enjoy.!
