This knife was beautiful and sharp right out of the package. I picked it out, but it was a birthday gift from my sones, who are also knife freaks. My one son has a Kershaw Wharncliff blade and I was not sure I would like it. After having it for a couple of weeks, it is nice to have. I also like two to three blades and it will take time to get used to one. So far it has stayed sharp. I also like smaller knives for the pocket, but this knife is very light and does not drag my pants down. I usually rotate knives daily, however, this one has been carried every day since it is so nice. So far I have used it to whittle, cut up fruit, and cut open boxes and mail. It is just an every day knife, I like it! It. Is quality built, great snap, and perfect alignment, what you expect from work Case.
