The illustrated Boker Knife is the Boker Magnum Spike Karambit Knife that features a 3.75" hawkbill fixed blade made of 440A stainless steel. The blade of this Boker Knife has a non reflective black finish and a top swedge. The Spike Karambit Knife has full tang construction for strength; finger grooves and a notched thumb rest for secure grip, milled sand color G10 scales and a ring pommel with spike. The good:
This is my first karambit and already I'm "hooked". I am new to the curve of the hawkbill but after carrying it for a day it is already a personal favorite. Were it a bit smaller I might even every-day carry it. It feels substantial in the hand and the handle is very comfortable. I made the initial mistake of carrying it "backward" (when on my hip, the handle and blade tip were pointing backward). I then realized that by turning it around so the the handle curved forward the grip and deployment were a lot more intuitive.

The bad:
The index finger ring worries me a bit. In hand-to-hand or other aggressive use, I'd worry that it might break my finger.

The ugly:
The kydex sheath is well made and serves its intended purpose. However, the plastic belt clip that comes with the sheath is flimsy. It has not failed yet, but I have been rather gentle with it. I imagine that if a rapid deployment were required it could easily fail and leave me holding a sheathed knife.
