The 01BO316 Boker Plus Joule Knife, designed by Michael Reinhold, is a compact workhorse of an EDC that features a 2.44 inch Wharncliffe blade made of tough D2 tool steel, .13 inch thick, with a satin finish and a dual thumb studs for ambidextrous one hand opening. The handle, 3.55 inches closed, has a black G10 front scale with decorative pivot detailing for visual interest, a stainless steel back with sturdy frame lock and G10 back spacer, lined lanyard hole and a deep carry removable pocket clip mounted at the butt end. The Boker Joule Knife has an overall open length of 5.59 inches, and it weighs 2.86 ounces. Made in China.
From the Boker website: Boker Plus Joule, designed by Michael Reinhold, is a handy framelock pocket knife with Wharncliffe blade, which is ideal as a box cutter and for other small to medium cutting jobs. The satin-finished blade is made of D2 and is opened by a removable thumb pin on both sides. While the rear stainless steel handle scales houses the framelock, the front handle scales and spacer are made of sturdy G10. The decorative blade axle screw is clearly curved. With reinforced lanyard hole, deep carry clip (tip-up/r) and high-quality nylon case for storage.
