Small but nice design
By
The Marlowe flipper is a fairly small knife with a weight of about 3.7 oz. Fit & finish is good as one would expect on a German made Boker, although the last few Chinese Boker Plus models (e.g. Caracal, Kihon, Squail Jr) that I've used are well done also. Flipping action is good, provided you keep your fingers off the lock bar - hard to do if you have larger than average hands. Edges are chamfered all around for a comfortable grip. The Marlowe comes with an N690 blade steel, and this one was quite sharp with a nicely done stonewash. There's some texture to the G-10 handle side, but it's pretty smooth. The clip leaves about a quarter inch visible in the pocket and easily goes over most materials. If you like Marlowe designs, this model is one that should please.
