The Griptilian Series in S30V! The 556BKOD Benchmade Mini Griptilian is a compact workhorse of an EDC, designed by Mel Pardue, that features a 2.91 inch drop point blade made of CPM S30V premium stainless steel, .100 inches thick, with a notched thumb ramp for secure grip, and dual thumb studs for ambidextrous one hand opening. The Olive Drab GFN (glass filled nylon) handle, 3.87 inches closed, has checkered texturing and notches for secure purchase, sturdy AXIS Lock, and a side to side reversible pocket clip mounted at the butt end. The Benchmade 556 Mini Griptilian Knife has an overall open length of 6.78 inches, and it weighs 2.81 ounces. Proudly made in the USA.

I have several Benchmades and Spiderco knives most of which have the newer premium steels.I lost my old Benchmade Mini Stryker knife that had the 154 cm steel blade and really miss it.I wanted another Benchmade with the 154cm and picked the OD and Black Mini Grip.Don't let anybody tell you that 154cm steel is old hat because it isn't.It is still a very good blade steel and is easy to sharpen and maintain.It holds a good edge....All good and no cons.
