The illustrated CRKT knife is the CRKT Ripple 2 Aluminum Knife, designed by custom knifemaker and inventor Ken Onion, that features a 2.70" drop point blade made of 8Cr14MoV stainless steel, .10" thick, with a Rockwell hardness of 58-59. The blade of this CRKT knife has a notched thumb ramp for secure grip, a Flipper and the IKBS pivot system for smooth ambidextrous one hand opening. The black aluminum handle, 3.78" closed, has a buffed pocket worn finish, machined texturing for secure grip, a liner lock and a lanyard hole. A removable stainless steel pocket clip is mounted at the pivot end of this CRKT knife. The CRKT Ripple 2 Aluminum Knife with plain edge blade and black handle has an overall length of 6.50" when open, and it weighs 1.8 ounces.
