Made in Japan in 1998. Discontinued 1st Production Run, serial numbered, BNIB - includes original Spyderco tag with note regarding blade centering issue (extending a 10 percent discount to the original owner - aka the Boss, due to the fact that the tip of the blade is not perfectly centered when the knife is closed - Original factory cosmetic flaw that does not compromise performance).
