I have previously installed 3 sets of AWT scales on Manix 2's, all were blemished and I like them very much. They are light, strong, and make the knife better. I wanted to get the midnight blue color, but the AWT site didn't have this color, but KnivesPlus did. Love the new scales! I also installed the ceramic ball and the light spring kit. I'm not sure I like the light spring, it's a bit too light and blade retention when closed is not to my liking. A spring with tension about 50 to 60 percent between the light spring and the factory spring might be ideal. Thank you for the opportunity to comment.

Completely changed the knife. Lighter, better action, fantastic acoustics with a very loud audible CLICK! upon opening. Extremely satisfied.

I read a lot of reviews before buying my gear. After researching, I purchased these and installed a Flytanium Cage as well. SPY27 Blade.

Pros: Lighter, fits the hand perfectly, the balance is really good, love the color! Tolerances are right on, knife centered first attempt and the action is great!

Cons: I looked at Titanium options so I guess long term wear may be an issue comparatively speaking but cannot say for certain?

I get buyer's remorse sometimes, not on these they are great! In fact, I'm going to buy another Manix 2 in a different steel so I can buy more of these in another great color!

I wish I would have asked for the satin hardware, but I had already ordered when I remembered it comes with black if you do not specify.
