Micarta feels so great in the hand and looks so tough as it aquires it's dark patina ... The work on the blade is true art. The PM2 has such a neat design and started to drop shut freely after a few hundred flicks. Word of warning regarding the micarta scales having some play near the lanyard hole area on the non-clip side due to no hardware in that area and micarta being thin. Their amazing customer service took care of me and sent hardware to fill in the non-clip side. Feels and looks better... Did I mention it cuts amazingly? I even sliced myself up the first day out the box (be careful). Will be back for more, as always!

The pictures really don’t do the work justice. I did a little tweaking on the pivot tension, but that’s just a personal preference. It shaves right out of the gate and has a beautiful rustic aesthetic. It was my first purchase here and definitely won’t be my last.

My first PM 2! Out of the box the action was smooth and there is no denying the efficiency of Spyderco’s compression lock. The stonewashed blade and brown Micarta scales seriously elevate this piece from just a functional edc to one of my favorite show pieces.
