The knife is okay, but not worth 200 dollars. The quality control is bad for a premium knife. I’ve ordered both a manix 2 lw and this para 3 Spyderco knives and both of them have had some minor issues, such as the blade being off center, minor scratches on the blade and blade play. On the manix 2 lw I’ve fixed the blade centering and blade play, but no matter what I do to the para 3 I can not fix it, I even tried disassembling the whole thing and lead to me accidentally breaking the g10 scales, which I replaced. And still the issues persist. All whilst I have a 65 dollar knife with none of these issues. Maybe it’s Spyderco’s fault or maybe knives plus or maybe my luck is really bad.

This Para 3 functions and feels amazing, pocket clip was insanely tight but that was easily fixed. Acid wash and stone wash look great along with the black hardware installed, sharpening was beautifully done and is very sharp. Customer service is also spot on, both through numerous emails and I even had a phone call with them. Great experience for sure!

At the start had a few questions that were answered right away. Put in the order for this knife and accidentally added sharpening that was already included in the acid stonewash. They emailed me and let me know, informed me I won’t be charged for the extra service I added by accident. Honesty is a big deal for me from a company. The blade and all custom work is top notch. I will definitely be using them again for all my knife purchases.

Love the new steel on the para 3. I had mine acid stone washed and all the hardware bronze anodized and it looks sick, knife came razor hair shaving sharp out of the box. I like how you can get your knife customized on the site. I will definitely be buying more knives from Knivesplus in the near future

I'm new to the Spyderco world. First purchase was the Alcyone. Love it. Now I had to see what one of their premium knives were like so I purchased the Para 3. Love it! Sharp right out of the box. It's a little stiff but once I play with it for a while, I'm sure that'll work itself out. It's my new and favorite EDC. Thank you Spyderco and thank you Knives Plus.

First of all, another great experience buying from KnivesPlus!
I am a huge fan of this Para 3 from Spyderco. It has a place in my EDC rotation due to its size, which is smaller than a lot of knives, including the PM2, and yet big enough to handle anything that comes up, with it's full 3" blade.
Doesn't feel small at all, and fits the hand and the pocket well.
Highly recommended.

I’ll admit I was a little hesitant to add on some extras like sharpening and the stone wash finish. Man I am glad I did. It came out perfect and the blade is definitely sharp enough to shave with. Shipping was fast, everything was great.

I own several knives from a wide variety of knife makers. Yet, this Spyderco Para 3 finds its way into my pocket more often than not. Why? It's the perfect blend of ergonomics, blade length, blade steel composition, edge retention, and value for my money.

I don't mean to knock other knife makers or Spyderco models here since there's plenty of love to go around. I'm merely pointing out that when it comes to a knife meeting one's EDC needs, this puppy checks off most of my requirements. This knife not babied, but it is deeply loved for its toughness and reliability. That's why I invested in a backup as well.

While I'm on this subject, a warm and hardy shoutout to Knives Plus for being an awesome knife retailer. Thank you!!!
