Fantastic knife. This is my third PM2 and came pretty sharp. I have used it a couple of weeks now and decided to reprofile the edge and had no real problem using all diamond hones. If you are not proficient in sharpening or you don’t have a decent diamond sharpening setup, I would get a different blade steel. The knife itself is awesome in any steel.

This knife is a great by. Ergonomics are great and and the action is buttery smooth. This model comes with a fantastic steel. I would caution the even though it’s labeled as blue it is really a dark purple . Ok for me but I’m sure others may take issues with that. Knives plus shipped fast and if you haven’t tried their $4 “want to shave with it” option I highly suggest it. Didn’t add much time to shipping and was well worth it

Outstanding knife in every respect. The color is more "plum" to me, but doesn't matter what it's called, it's very attractive. Smooth opening and the blade drops nicely into close. Locks up like a brick and there's zero blade play. The S110V steel should be great (I haven't used it enough to know how well it holds an edge, but have read it's fantastic). It's become my EDC.
