While under some bright light, the colors do pop, at first I thought the finish was dull, kind of lack luster, but give the scales some time and you will notice just from pocket carry that the finish does get abit brighter. I really fell for the looks of the scales and in person I'm so happy with the finish. They fit smoothly and while there were some burs in the clip screw points, they were popped out and easily removed. If your thinking about getting these, get them while you can!
