I have a collection of spyderco knives. I especially like the Delica, and I buy them in different steels and blade shapes, and I change the scale and hardwear myself. I like this K390 so much that I bought another one. I recommend it.

Was unsure about the modifications but wanted this unique knife. I love that the acid etch helps protect the blade on the k390 as it is not stainless, and the die on scales definitely gives it a uniqueness, when combined with the heat treated hardware.

Knife came sharp, progressive stropping did make it sharper, but more than sufficent for most people. I just knew the K390 was able to give more, and that is before I ever touched it to a stone. The action was slightly gritty at first, I assume that is from the acid etch around the pivot, but in a day or so it felt like a normal spyderco delica.

Overall I am more than happy with this knife, it was what I was wanting, and makes for a great, sharp, capable, and unique EDC. It hasn't left my pocket since receiving it, and likely wont unless in more formal attire.
