Product worked fine. When replacing the ball/spring orientation is critical, otherwise you will have problems assembling the knife.

It makes the knife much easier to open and manageable. To me, it’s a must have upgrade. The only con is; you can absolutely flip the blade open from closed without holding down the ball cage. But it takes quite a bit of throw to do so. Other than that, which doesn’t bother me, it’s perfect!

I'm not as young as I use to be and my fingers had a terrible time trying to close my Manix. By installing this spring it greatly improved the knife. I can now close it with one hand.

The spring is too light for me. The blade does not have enough tension in the closed position. I did like how easy it was to operate the ball cage but didn’t like the blade tension when closed. I have the Manix 2 Salt and that already comes with a ceramic ball so I could not use that either. The quality on this is good and if you are looking for a real easy open and a lot easier pull on the ball cage this is perfect for you.
