A bit gritty 09/21/2023 ByJames K Looks just like the picture. Acid wash and dye job was done well. My issue is the action is quite gritty despite working it and the later addition of oil. Not sure if this is overtightened or this is a result of the wash but its no where near as smooth as my factory VG-10 version.
Very Nice08/20/2021 ByMatthew Dapson As a knife collector I really appreciate unique stuff, but usually regret messing with factory knives, especially from Spyderco. They seem to go out of their way to make things hard on the customer. You guys seem to have broken the code. This isn't my first "Modified" from you and thus far you're batting 1.000. I can acid wash a blade. I can Rit dye an FRN scale. But for a very reasonable premium, I'll let you do it and forgo the mess and possible reassembly problems. This is the Dragonfly I would make myself, so your instincts on what's sought after are spot on. Very satisfied!
