Best casual edc out there?01/03/2024 ByBrian Zabel I’m partial to spyderco as the ergonomics and wire clip speak to me. The chaparral might be their most well rounded option for lighter duty casual/office carry (if your office/community allows for locking knives etc). While the chaparral comes in many scale options, most are currently out of stock and/or discontinued. At current sale prices the cf version is a no-brainer for classy yet durable use. Like most of spyderco’s Taiwan options, fit and finish is flawless with my example. I’ve found xhp to be a fine stainless option for general use (both in this option as well as the chaparral frn that I have carried for much of the last couple years).
KnivesPlus…this was my first purchase from them and I likely won’t go anywhere else moving forward! They called to confirm my order (I have a problematic zip code). The knife went in the mail the next day, was delivered practically overnight, all a few days prior to Dec 25th! Fantastic!
Chaparral 12/15/2023 Byjohn stevenson I have carried this beauty for several weeks now. I really like everything about this little knife. • Great steel •Thin blade •Good feel in hand •Disappears in pocket Liked the overall package of the Chaparral so much I purchased another.
Chapparal in CF12/07/2017 ByRobert Kester This small knife is a great “dressy” EDC option. It is crazy sharp and weighs next to nothing. I probably will carry it in a small leather pocket slip rather than clipped. That leaves room for something a bit larger for those times you think you might it.
