Spyderco Knives: Spyderco Dog Tag Folder, Black Carbon Fiber, SP-C188CFBBKP

The illustrated Spyderco Knife is the Spyderco Dog Tag Folder, designed by knife maker Serge Panchenko, that features a 1.23" non locking sheepfoot blade made of CPM S30V stainless steel, .118" thick. The blade of this Spyderco knife has a non reflective black TiCN (titanium carbonitride) coat, flat chisel grind, decorative fuller, and the Spyderco hole for one hand opening. The black carbon fiber G10 laminate handle, 2.00" closed, has a black pivot plate, a black blade stop / edge protector, and a lanyard / key ring hole. The Spyderco Dog Tag Folder has an overall open length of 3.23" and it weighs .9 ounces. Made in Taiwan.

From the Spyderco website: This version of the Dog Tag features a handle machined from a solid piece of black carbon fiber/G-10 laminate with an inlaid detent spring arm.

A non-locking folder, the Dog Tag's blade is held in place in the open position by a detent mechanism. ... Since the blade does not lock, care should be taken during use to apply cutting pressure only in a direction that maintains the knife's open position.
