Very pleased with how buttery smooth the knife swings open and locks in place with a solid click. The safety is also easy to engage. I paid for the add-on sharpening and believe me the knife will shave. Definitely worth the extra 5 bucks. The knife just feels right. Seriously, it is an awesome large extremely sharp shiny scary looking bad a@# knife. The clip works really well at tucking it away and it is surprisingly light for it's size. Could easily be carried all day even in a pair of running shorts. Just a well thought out design. Very happy with it.

Rock solid lock up, razor sharp...machinework on blade is fantastic......fit and finish on handle is above expectations (the whole knife is above expectations) For a pinch over 40 bucks....I can not see how anyone could go wrong...as usual, THANKS COLD STEEL!!! And certainly thanks to KnivesPLUS for the very fast shipping, great deal and above standard customer service....I will be back...

(this did not have that issue as seen on youtube where blade does not quite go in when folded all the way and can potentially "snag" the point and cause to cut or accidentally open)

The cold steel Luzon is a big knife. I like big knives especially for self-defense purposes. Love the ease of opening, thinking about buying a second one, Great knife for the price.
