I thought I'd lost my first BK-11, so I ordered this one; I'm glad I did.

The new one came with a sheath featuring withdrawal friction adjustment.
You don't need to snap the blade all the way into the sheath.
You can now slide the blade in lightly and pivot the blade retaining piece over. Nice.

I kept my first one in the car; driver's door pocket.
Holds a great edge; no nonsense tool.
It vanished, so I've gotta get another one.
It's that good.
