Lansky Knife sharpener12/17/2016 ByRick Hettich Just used the kit for the first time. Gotta say it did a great job sharpening the knives, but the knife holder needs a bit of work. The knife wanted to slip out of the holder. If your looking for a sharp knife, i would recommend this product.
Great system12/08/2016 ByBrent Salfen If you have time to spend on getting a great edge on your blade, this is the system to use. I wish it came with the stand, but it is workable without it. I was very impressed with the sharpness on the knives I 'rehabilitated' with my Lansky system.
Can't go wrong!08/22/2016 ByLarry I've used Lansky products for over twenty years and never been let down. the only drawback to this is the new design of the blade clamp. my old clamp is a polished aluminum clamp that still works after all this time. I purchased this kit to keep at work and was disappointed in the clamp being a rough bead blasted aluminum that will not hold the blade from moving. Lansky suggest using tape to help remedy the issue...it didn't work! Thank God I have an extra clamp! After all the years I've used Lanky products, this is a small issue I would easily overlook. I'm sure with a little work I can make this clamp perform correctly. This sharpening system is extremely reliable and fool proof.
