I bought both Smith's Retractable Diamond Knife Sharpener, SM-DRET; and Lansky BladeMedic Sharpener, LK-PSMED01 as a set. Lanksky carbide teeth are good for initial sharpening and Smith's diamond rod good for razor edge, works on my KABAR Knife, USMC Plain Edge with Leather Sheath, KA-1217. Very pleased so far.
