I recently found my Dad's USN knife from 1950 Korean War and I completely overhauled it for a Father's Day gift. He did not have a sheath! KnivesPlus came trough and the sheath had the USN and logo, its very well made, really high quality workmanship, the leather is excellent quality, sturdy and thick-cut.
I added a lanyard for a leg tie, a light leather oil treatment, and it looks awesome!

Leather sheath is a tight fit but a little work it fits good. Now the strap is another story. Nearly impossible to snap. Have been working and pulling on it to stretch it out and finally am able to snap it closed don't know if it will snap yet when wearing the sheath. A little more leather would have been nice. Would it cost that much for 1/4" more leather so it would snap easily?

My original sheath issued to me in 1966 finally rotted and fell apart after two tours in Vietnam, too many camping trips to count and many police and personal protection operations. Ordering was simple and the USPS delivered it sooner than expected. The sheath looks just like the old one and after a little persuasion the snap on the top keeper finally snapped in. I'm sure with wear it will stretch and fit easily. My old KaBar found a new friend. Thank you.
