The DMT D6 is the perfect size for me - I needed a sharpener for pocket knives, and smaller kitchen knives. The Fine/Coarse dual grit is helpful- gives me the options for really going to town on a dull edge, and for light touch ups when needed. I lay mine on a cut up piece of that foamy drawer liner stuff to protect the side that I am not using, and to prevent slipping (I am not a one handed knife sharpener - yet).
Great product 06/29/2017 ByMatthew Gameson After some research and reviews, I got this sharpener to sharpen my kitchen knives. It did a great job with not much effort. Seems like a high quality sharpener that will last a long time.
