I've been using the Lansky diamond medium, then diamond fine, followed with the sapphire stone with good results. Adding this strop to the routine has really enhanced my sharpening results. This thing really puts a great polished razor like edge to reworked blades and cleans up a slightly used/dull blade better than anything I've used before . Well worth the price. Get one, I think you will be glad you did.

A fantastic strop that brings out the shine and edge AND it keeps me from rounding my edge unless I really go overboard. I have tried Flexcut Gold and while this is a well respected compound, I find it harder to get the edge I am looking for. The Knivesplus team may be a little proud in that they all say these strops last forever. I'm not so sure about that, but who cares? I am looking forward to the package arriving as part of my holiday splurge!

I have just reviewed the smaller version of the knife strop, this is just...well more! An excellent product with comprehensive instructions for the maintenance so you can get the most use (value) for your money.

Fantastic tool for finish work. It has just the right amount of grit to polish a mirror edge and do daily maintenance without taking too much, but it WILL ruin an edge with the wrong touch even if it's much more forgiving than any ceramic

Excellent stropping block. Incredibly smooth. Have never been able to get a super sharp edge. First night I grabbed my knives, Spyderco, Bark River, Russell, Topps and others. All are now scary sharp. To say that I'm pleased would be an understatement. Thank you for a fine product.

I have been sharpening my mind's my entire life over 45 years. My father and grandfather taught me that a Dull Knife is a dangerous knife. I have always used a diamond steel to sharpen my pocket knife my fillet knives in my kitchen knives and any other knife I can get my hands on that needs some attention. For me sharpening knives is a relaxing location. Well I bet some horse-trading and I have in my possession one of the strop blocks. Absolutely hands down unequivocally the best sharpening instrument I have ever possessed. A few passes with your blade down it and you could go and shave your beard in the mirror without cutting yourself ones! I recommend this and would give it four hundred stars but they don't let me do that. Even the most inexperienced person with sharpening their own knives can do this in almost no time to understand it. A very very very good product.
