Skinny mod para 3 BBB 15v!! 06/12/2026 ByMathew Silva Hands down the best in hand feeling knife I’ve ever held. The skinny mod makes an already fantastic ergonomic knife even better if you can imagine. Rit dyed my g10 scales peacock green with the starting color being BBB brown it came out a nice od green. Nice and subdued but makes it a little different and more like mine now. Drop shut, fidget friendly compression lock is smooth and strong! The blade being BBB custom heat treatment to 15v is absurd in the best of ways. It’s simply amazing what he achieved with cpm 15v. I put my own edge on it right when I got it in(sharpeners can’t help that) but 15v will take any edge you want to put on it and just thrive, low grit toothy edges, cloudy, gray edges, lightly polished to a extreme mirror polish it just holds that sticky, toothy edge like nothing else! This is hands down amazing to feel and use! In love immediately and married to it after a day ! Skinny mod and BBB 15v is a dream come true
Perfection from the start 04/29/2026 ByMathew Silva This para 3 skinny mod in 15v is hands down the best para 3 or best Spyderco I use . The 15v after I put my own edge on that did not need it at all yet as it came great and very sharp from KP but being a sharpener. I gave it my own little touch up. The edge is amazingly sharp. But even more surprise is how tough 15v really is when in everyday use. Not one roll or even a micro chip yet. The ergonomics holding a skinny mod vs an original para 3 is another amazing feeling. Just melts and fits into the hand like it grew from it. Super easy and very satisfying to sharpen. Skinny mod scales are my favorites to date, and the 15v blade holding an edge to the end of time (jk) but crazy long and being much tougher than I ever expected is just amazing. In every aspect I absolutely love this knife. In every way!
Just buy it!10/20/2025 ByJoe P I was looking for a para 3 to try and found that I wanted the skinny mod scales. I thought I'd need to buy a knife and then the scales in top of it. However, knivesplus had this beauty. I really wanted k390 or maxamet, but 15v was just as tempting so I pulled the trigger. I'm glad I did! The scales are perfect and I really don't care what the original para 3 scales are like. The skinny modification is great. The only thing I don't like is the makers mark. I wish Spyderco would've just given the maker credit for his heat treatment and left it at that. It isn't a legible mark and distracts from the esthetics. That is super picky of me to even mention here since I really like this knife and the price I paid for it. I added a deep carry clip and it hasn't left my pocket.
Best $4 upgrade ever07/25/2025 ByJeffery Turner The modified G-10 scales is great, well done guys. The card said that DC packaged and "sharpened" the knife. If DC did sharpen it, it looks like a factory edge, as in professionally done. It could be a bit uneven, as in two different angles. BUT, it is so freaking sharp I'm glad it's that way. Some even suggest that it's better that way, two different angles.

Blade dead center out of the box as well as sharp like hell I totally appreciate the fact that it came like that and also the fact that it was just perfect in any way.
