The straight edge makes for easy sharpening and follow up honing. Price is low enough that when someone admires the knife it can be given away. Alway keep a few extras on hand.
Too cool 07/23/2020 ByPaul V Great little workhorse. I had KP sharpen the blade and it came with a scary sharp edge. Good workmanship but the blade is terribly off center. I’ve contacted the manufacturer for corrective action. The only option I see is them sending me a replacement. S&H to send it back will cost about the same as me ordering a replacement from KP. In summary, a tremendous value and a seldom seen shape in a great working knife. It IS too cool.
