Sword Cane04/12/2024 ByBill P If you are looking for an excellent sword cane, this is the one to buy! The workmanship is fantastic, and the sword is strong and heavy. If the time would come that it is needed, it will perform.
Second Order06/07/2023 ByDottie Moon I have had the privilege of ordering twice from Knives Plus and both time have been a breeze. From the website to the care of the Customer Service Reps. The Cane/Swords that I ordered were delivered in perfect condition and were exactly as described. Thank you Knives Plus!
Cold Steel Cane03/17/2023 ByGregory Molatch Cane is working out OK. It is a stout number, which I like as I can lean on it with confidence. I reecntly underwent a knee replacement, and one of my physical therapists commented on how heavy it was. I said, "Yes, it's special."
Cold Steel Heavy Duty Sword Cane02/02/2022 ByMark Lovell I had to play with extracting the blade. It would be helpful to advise a twisting motion to do so. The blade is very sharp and its metal sheath is rugged for outdoor travels. The handle is comfortable and I now can withdraw the blade with ease. The cane comes equipped with a solid cane tip. Assembled, it looks nothing like a sword. The blade does rattle a wee bit from time to time. I wouldn't be without it, ever.
Would Buy Again 11/26/2021 ByG Very sturdy construction, a working edge on the blade. If you’re using it as a cane and are shorter than 5’3” you may need to alter the blade length, I don’t believe you’ll be able to cut the total height of the cane less than 33” without alteration. For cutting the aluminum section, I’d suggest a hacksaw or pipe cutter on the bottom portion, after removing the rubber cup. There’s a bit of blade rattle in the fitment of the blade tang and cane handle, but it doesn’t detract from the utility of the sword. Cane handle is a bit slippery, I’ll eventually fix that with a some grip tape and may thin the Grivory handle with a Dremel or rasp and file. Due to the design, the balance is off, but this weapon wasn’t created for fencing sessions. Eventually I’ll buff out the interior of the aluminum pipe section where the cane handle and washers lock into, because there’s a bit of overspray that causes a little drag as you open it. I bought it as a novelty item and am very
Pretty badass10/28/2021 ByDaniel Stinson I'm quite happy with the sword cane. Very sturdy. I only wish I had bought one a long time ago. First time removing the sword was quite difficult, but it got a bit easier after that, but never so easy as to worry about the sword sliding out on it's own. It still suctions itself inside the cane body quite well.
Cold Steel Heavy Duty Sword Cane06/24/2021 ByDavid Short My Doctor recently told me to start using a cane to maintain my balance and aid my walking as I have a chronic back injury. I also have to operate in locations quite frequently where I cannot carry my concealed carry handgun. I was loath to be unarmed and this piece of gear interested me. Upon unpacking and examining it in detail I have been very impressed with its quality of workmanship and features. It has a very nice blade/sword constructed of high quality steel that is sharp and well balanced. The cane itself is constructed of very substantial aluminum and can also be used weapon. It has exceeded my expectations. However, it was too long for my usage and I needed to fit it to me. There are no instructions for doing that from the builders. If you need to fit it to yourself, remove metal from the upper end of the cane not, repeat not from the tip. The tip end is tapered and if you remove metal there the rubber tip and the long rubber insert blade protector and vibration dampener will
Heavy duty sword cane06/20/2021 ByTim Very pleased with my purchase. The cane it’s self is heavy enough for self-defense. The sword has a very heavy blade and is good for thrusting or slicing. Nice sword at a good price 👍
Great with a little work06/14/2021 ByDano Dano Received this today and after a short mile walk, I realized it was too long. I'm 5'8" and used 35" cane for my Spondylolisthesis. Here's how I made it a perfect 35" cane. I made sure I had a 1 inch tip on hand. Cut the old tip off. Took my old cane's tip off and measured it with this cane. There is soft plastic lipped tube in this cane. I broke the glue loose holding it in and pulled it out. Cut off the new cane. Smoothed the edge off and using a good boot glue inserted the lipped tube into the cane. Attached my reserve 1" rubber tip (the kind with a metal plate in it). Replaced the sword into the cane and Presto, it's the perfect size and no rattle at all. Very sharp and will be my go to cane from now on. PS: Knives Plus shipped fast and had the best price on the net that I could find. I see my future knife purchasing business with them. Dano
Cold steel cae sword12/30/2020 ByBrian Blackwell No instructions on how to shorten the cane for the proper height . The sword itself has dull edges and it was supposed to be razor sharp, now i have to take it to a sharpener , due to change of ownership i will not trust them to send out the same type sword.
