My boyfriend wanted this knife, so I got it for him for Valentine's Day. He absolutely loves it and always takes it with him whenever he leaves the house. I like it alot, too. It's a nice knife. It's lightweight and comfortable to open and close. It fits well in different sized hands. The acid wash blade and blue color are really nice. And next to that, Knives Plus is a great company to buy from. Quick to ship, and quick to communicate.

The mods made on this delica made huge improvements, the thumb hole is larger and is easier to flick open now. The new grind makes the tip slight more robust and looks sleeker. Also comes with a mirror polished egde making it a great slicer and the acid stonewashed finish makes it so it's a great everyday work horse as your not afraid to get blemishes.

I ordered this custom delica for my brother for his birthday and he has been extremely happy with it so far.
I took it out of the box to check it out and Knivesplus did another great job with their custom work. The acid wash looks great with the blue scales! I also had them put on the heat colored screws and stonewashed pocket clip which accent the knife beautifully.
I flicked it open a few times to test the action and it's very smooth with solid lockup and no blade play. It's also very thin and will disappear in your pocket. Will definitely be picking up another custom delica for myself in the future!

I purchased the “Your My Boy Blue” for the obvious reasons. I also loved the regrind option. The scale color is a vivid blue and the Acid Wash was perfectly done. KnivesPlus nailed it on this piece and it arrived nice and sharp. I purchased this knife because I recently purchased another knife from KnivesPlus and wanted to see if the customer service was consistent or just another average “depends who you get” site. I will be straight forward and say they are very courteous and helpful. I received a phone call from them because I requested special hardware on this piece. Unfortunately, they did not have it but the guy I spoke with gave me a few other options to consider. Many times, other sites will just mail you the blade and no response or update to why your comments were not read. KnivesPlus made an awesome effort and definitely sold me again on their C.S. My daily work knife as a cabinet maker/ installer. I use it 5-10 times a day. It looks great and came centered and smooth. Great for sharping my pencil to cutting vinnal floor base off of the wall where my cabinets go.

I already have a Delica 4 (non-modified) and it’s one of my favorite go-to knives. That being said this modified version is excellent. The dyed blue scales are awesome along with the acid washed reground blade. They do resharpen the blade so it comes very sharp when you get it. Had to add a little oil and loosen the pivot just a tad to get better flicking action. Would buy it again!

Of all the Spydercos I own, this is probably now my favorite. The color of the handle looks great, I had never seen one Rit Dyed before, but I'm very pleased with it. The regrind of the blade (as I've stated in my other review) is nice- it shortens the blade just a little, but not so much to make it stick up out of the handle. I personally like this shape of the blade. Still as sharp as ever. Overall, between the dyed handle and the acid washed blade and the regrind- there has been no quality lost on this Spyderco.
