Sage 5 awesome06/27/2025 ByCurtiss Yarbrough Sage 5 is better than PM 3. I has better action same blade length. I have not owned Magnacut long enough to have tested toughness or edge retention. My favorite steels ar tool steels it looks like magnacut is a stainless tool steel. It came very sharp out of the box I refined the scratch pattern with 4000 then 8000 grit and stropped on leather. I’m very happy with it.
